that the room smoked up and it went up my nostrils.

Cedele was so nice to help in the arrangement of
my parent's anniversary dinner. Food ordered in
advance :) i hope the 'rents love the food. I suspect
i ordered too much LOL :) i'm so excited for them
though.

So if any of you are around wheelock tonight at
6pm-8pm, drop by to wish them a happy 30th
anniversary!

i have the bad habit of not paying my phone bills till they
actually cut the line. And yes, it happened again, today.
Fortunately i found out in not so dire circumstances.
On previous occasions, i had to call someone urgently
only to realize my line was cut. This time i had only tried
to send my cousin an MMS when it said connection failed.
When will i ever learn to pay my bills once they arrive in
the mail...? Well... we'll see. As for today, don't get cross
with me if i don't reply your sms-s. If i feel like it, i'll
walk over to 7-11 and get the girl over the counter to
help me with the bill paying process. *fingers crossed*

i weighed my chances... i braced myself... then i decided
that i should just do it.

"Ma....., i was thinking of having a little table on castors to
put my sewing machine on. With drawers at the bottom for
my odds and ends and fabric." fingers and toes crossed.
Then i shifted my gaze and took a bite off my sandwich.

"Yeah... Ikea has some good stuff." She got up and went in
search of the catalog.

OH MY GOODNESS... did she just say yes?!?!?

so yes, mum has even offered to accompany me to Ikea in
search of my little table. Look out for pictures. (woo hoo!)

you know, before i asked, i heard her saying in my head,
"huh... another table?" or "where are you going to put it?"
with emphasis on 'it'... OR "you better clear the stuff in
your room first before thinking of adding more furniture
to it."

i bet you've all heard tt from your mum now and then.
But i'm glad mum proved me wrong this time.

i knew i shouldn't have looked... but i did.
I was almost reduced to tears and the ache
in my heart was hard to ignore...

oh whatever... it's just another of THOSE
days... i'll get over it. And i'll look back and
wonder why it even mattered.

so yea... those were pictures from the baby shower
that happened a while ago. I had so much fun
working with the decor. I mean, after looking at
so many blogs with fantastic decor and craft,
i finally got to try it out myself :) thanks to M.E.
for helping to make it happen.
